The brilliant clank inventor, Aurora Flux has gone missing right before she was supposed to unveil her latest invention, The Veritas Engine: a device that supposedly extracts truth through resonance. Aurora’s primary research focuses on sentience and acquiring it for herself and she may have just stumbled upon a breakthrough. Could this be why she vanished?
This is a tier 2 (levels 2-4) adventure set in a mildly steampunk setting in the city of Amicora. Your adventurers will dive into the seedy underbelly of a port city that thrives on invention and ideas. In their quest, they will encounter new adversaries, a new community to identify with and a new environment stat block that exposes the impressions they leave on others.
This module was play tested on our YouTube channel in a 4 part series, A Clockwork Silence, with dramatic results. The story tests your player’s morals and asks them to make heartfelt decisions that will affect the lives of NPCs they have come to know. What will your players do?
This module includes an introduction to the city, GM best practices for the game, story beats, new adversaries, new community, new environment and even an introduction to the magic systems of Vesper, our homebrew world. The module is loaded with original art as well.
